Any of you guys used this on your rigs? I got the floorpan restoration kit and am going to use it tomorrow. Any input before I "leap" would be appreciated.

I have used por-15 on my 71 commando & currently using it on a friends 36'
buick sedan. the stuff is petty good (the silver paint is the best)we used
the epoxy & the fiberglass and the results were good, but we found using
krazy glue in small spots to hold the fiberglass in place before painting.
email me if you need any other info.

I had holes from drain hole size to pin holes. Used the silver POR and covered with the glass mat. Stuff worked great! ' Course my floor is silver now but it is a floor again! (PAT,ARE YOU LISTENING TO THIS?) Behind the seats where the floor 'slopes up', I had to cover with light sheet metal, due to a rusted softball size hole. POR, pop rivited and covered it also. Looks really good. Had to order some more to finish the rear deck because the kit only comes with a pint. One more thing...If my floor looks good now, you ought to see my arm from my wrist to the elbow! Thanks, guys.

Chris, When you get the stuff, get at least a quart of the Metal Ready. It converts the rust to metal and leaves a coating of zinc oxide. I got the floorpan restoration kit, about 90 bucks and the silver has metal in it. This is for heavy pitting. The black is for just light surface rust. They have a putty also that can be used like bondo but won't chip or peal. I tried to scratch it with a 9/16 bolt and it barely left a mark! I repeat, this stuff is really good! Just keep your arm out of it!
