I don't have the catalog right here, but it is a polyurethane bushing that is 1 inch thicker to give the lift.

Being the cheap guy I am.... I bought the roll o rubber in the same catalog meant for fiberglass bodies. It's 25 bucks. Cut it with a hack saw and buy longer bolts. Voila! 1" body lift. Works great had it for a year now. Ken

Piece of cake!......if none of the body bolts give you problms.
You won't have to modify or change anything on a 1"
No rusted(I can't get the ba****d bolts off) 1hr. job.
Good luck & lift er up./wwwthreads_images/icons/cool.gif

I just (2 days ago) installed the Daystar 1" body lift on my jeep.
As another poster said, if you have no problems with bolts, it takes
an hour or so to install. Simple and straight forward.

Anyone interested in some red Energy Suspension body mounts for a CJ?

A year ago I bought the Poly body mounts for my 85 CJ7. The kit did not come with washers and bolts so I had to look around for washers big enough for the mounts. What a PITA. Nobody carried them here in NY (or I just couldn't find them). Then I decided to do a 1 inch body lift from 4WD. The kit is complete and the ride is much softer than the Poly kit I had before. $100 well spent. The install took about an hour since my bolts were removed a year ago.

That is my experience with the Daystar Kit.

Good luck.
