I cant really answer any of your aftermarket questions. But when i worked at the dealership i had an scrambler 400 4X4 for a demo. I wasnt allowed to work it so i just tuned the cluthes and carb the best i could stock. I did gain some mph on the top end after i tuned everthing. What i noticed the most was the low end. They are a little on the heavy side but i have seen more then one flying. I did do some performance work on other 400's but mostly exhaust and clutching. I hope this helps some what. But like i said i wouldnt be able to help that much.

Can someone please bring me a hammer my 33's just ate my fender again. Damn i need more lift.
