My Uncle just bought a polaris ranger 4x4
i was wonderin about the break in time you have to run it.....they say to run it in low for 25 hours...
is this just for the company's sake or will it tear up in the long run if you disregard this ?

Ranger break-in time

Always wise to follow the manufacturer's recommendations, break in times are listed for a reason, and the low gears will mesh together better if run in low before getting it into high gear. Tearing around on a new engine at high rpm is never a great idea. Check out this sight for other Ranger recommendations:
