I've got a 2003 Polaris Sportsman 700. If it feels sluggish this is because of the weak stock clutching it has... You can put a heelclicker or other clutch kit in and should notice a considerable improvement... I think they clutch it like that for liability reasons, as they just don't want that much power available from a dead stop...

I'am new here and need some advice from you guys.I'am looking at getting a polaris 700.I went to look at one and road it around and it seems like it was sluggish and not real responsive.I had a 500 sportsman and that seem like it had more tourqe and power to it.Is the 700 supposed to be like that or should it have all kinds of power.Mabe I'am exspecting more from it then I should.Any advice would be greatly appreciated.Thanks Nick
