Okay guys give me some help. I have used the search engine with no luck to find any of my numbers.
I pulled my tranny to inspect the clutch (I was getting some chatter) and got curious to make sure the PO put the correct flywheel on it (they dropped a 360 in it). I cannot find any of these numbers on any post here.

The casting # is 3212621. then there is L-178 and W-6.
Can I get some help identifying this flywheel or should I just buy a new one. I don't see any counter weights only balance holes drilled.

We have discussed it quite a bit, I just did a search for "flywheel" and got a lot of old threads to read.

I have a 360 flywheel if you want some photos of the counter weight location, and numbers.

not sure on the casting #'s, but if you do decide to get a new one these guys Krage are great, mine including shipping (brand new w/ring gear) was only $102.00.

Can somebody tell me what flywheel this is from!
I guess I have the wrong one on mine. Let me know what you think it is.

You could go to your local NAPA store and getthe correct one. A reman flywheel retails for around $65. Just give them your incorrect flywheel for the core.

I have never seen an AMC flywheel that looks like that.
I enlarged and lightened up the pic, maybe someone can help!

I figured it was the wrong flywheel. Thats the vibration I have been dealing with. It shattered my last transmission and this one too. the T/O bearing is ready to fall apart.
