Re: Pic\'s Tring to put this into this

Not trying to be a stickler here, but it seems that all of your questions have been answered, short of someone coming over and installing them for you. I have seen diagrams, breakdowns, suggestions, and pictures in response. Maybe you should consider hiring the job out to a mechanic? Again, I am not trying to be condascending, but it seems that you may be in WAY over your head with this undertaking. There are many great resources on this board, but all the help in the world cannot help certain situations. Best of luck to you.

Re: Pic\'s Tring to put this into this

Sorry Zook, I was just learning how to use the camara and was posting some pics is all. I feel that working on my own things is the best way for me to learn how my Suzuki works and how to fix things when they break. I don't have endless amounts of money and can not afford someone else to wrench on things without carring if they do a good job or not. I have put alot of "love" into this already and was just wanting a little help. Everone of us who is into the Suzuki Samauri has to start from the beginning and learn from the kind few willing to teach

This is a 4x4. Thanks for the help

I think you missed my point. Use your digital camera to take pictures of where you are stuck in the process, asking the essentials. You need to have some kind of inclination for mechanics to begin with, or prepare to pay heftily for someone to finish what you started. If you are not comfortable with something as simple as sliding in a set of inner shafts, maybe it should be left to someone else.
Hints that you have a clue are questions like "what tool to use to take the large nuts off the spindle?" or "how do I reassemble the hubs that were not installed on the front of my vehicle?" There is no step by step how to for this type of repair, most of the process is rudementary maintenance for the front of a sammy. Please don't take offense, but you will need to take the plunge, or make the purchase.

Zook, not all of us are at YOUR LEVEL of expertise. I thought asking questions is why this board was here for. I had done a search, then I had asked a question. I bought this Suzuki to work on and to wheel. It is a learn as you go so I'll be asking more question that you may find basic.

Re: Pic\'s Tring to put this into this

Well it seems that my post has fallen short of the mark. You assume by the use of caps that I am the expert in the field. I am just trying to save you the trouble of taking on more than you outwardly appear to be able to handle. Hopefully I am wrong, and you are just trying to be overly cautious with your newly acquired truck. It just seems that you are asking the same questions, now new and improved with pictures,(even though you deleted them) looking for affirmation. I typically refrain from trying to look like an arse, but my point has not changed. At least attempt to install them yourself, dont sit and ask repeatedly how to put them in.

Re inserting pics of deleted posts for the masses to see....

My concern with that picture is that plastic cap on the front wheel. Normally those only are present on 2wd rigs. There should be a locking hub there. I'm not aware of any with auto-locking hubs (maybe it was an option?).

Some of this won't apply since you're not pulling shafts yet, but here is how I remove an axle shaft.
1. remove the wheel
2. remove the 2 bolts for the brake caliper
3. remove the 6 small bolts on the hub cap
4. remove the c-clip on the axle which is now visible without the hub cap
5. remove the disc rotor (if it's stuck, use the 2 M8? threaded holes)
6. remove the 4 bolts holding the wheel spindle to the steering knuckle (these are hidden behind the wheel hub)
7. remove the complete hub assembly
8. remove the axle shaft

reverse this order to put it back together

In order to easily change the axle seals you will need to remove the steering knuckles also though. That will require removing the upper and lower kingpins.
