The truck looks really great! Did you do the job yourself?

Some buddies of mine are helpin my friend put a 3 inch suspension lift on his 2WD s-10 '00. He already has a 2 inch body lift on it. We'll let you know how it goes.

Thanks for all the compliments guys. I really like the way my truck is now. To answer your questions: The rims are American Eagle 58's. It rides pretty stiff, but I expected it to be. I didn't install the lift, because my parents offered to pay for someone to do it, otherwise I would have. The only bad thing is that the tires rub a litte bit. Recommended backspacing for the rims was 3.75, but the rims are 4, so they rub on the frame a little on the front, and also on the rear when the axle articulates. They also rub on the wheel well a little too, but I'm getting fiberglass fenders soon, and to cure that. Should also let me fit 32's.

Have you noticed a loss of power with the extra bigger meats and the lift?

Do you plan on swapping out gears?

Yeah, I did notice a loss of power, but even more was how much it eats gas now! I'm getting about 14 mpg. I am planning on swapping gears. Sometime this summer, I'm going to the junkyards to find either a 3.73 posi, or maybe even 4.10s and gettng a zexel for it.

Goodness! 14 mpg whoooaaahhhdaaay. I am sure my friend will hate knowing that. His total lift won't be 6"'s but it will be close. He is also trying to find ways on cutting down on the gas mileage. I guess getting a lift is not one of the ways to cut down on gas mileage...ha....at least he isn't making it into some lowrider!

I found a way to cut down on the gas mileage...get in a wreck. I didn't do it on purpose but instead of driving the 4Runner (V6) I'll be driving a Mitsu w/ a four banger. hehehe
