ok so one more. This one is my brother in laws cj7. 38in. swampers and a 4 in superlift springs in the front and only god nows what is in the back.

Boy, those NJ license plates sure do look a lot like mine...where the heck is that pit....i have yet to see it? I'd like to go check it out, will be up there next week, maybe we could go wheeling? let me know here or private message. thanks

I am not sure were in jersey you are from but i am from south jersey not trenton or anywhere like that the true south. I really dont want to say the name of the pit on here. If you are from the south you would now it. If your not well we have to get togther and i will show you were it is.

I'm from Northern NJ, near Giants stadium, but maybe we could go wheeling. Project TJ has yet to see some REAL 4 wheeling....i'll message you again when i get up there, and we;ll se what we can do!

From the sounds of this back and forth on the location of the sand pit, it sure makes me glad that out here in the 4 corners we don't have to look for places to wheel, heck, sometimes its a dilemma just picking which place to wheel! /wwwthreads_images/icons/cool.gif Just had to gloat, sorry guys.

Speaking of sand....
My son was up from college this Thanksgiving and took the old '77 CJ-7 up the wide, sandy, Chokecherry Canyon wash FOR 10 MILES...
He said is was a heck of a lot more fun tearing around the wash in a couple of hundered dollar CJ instead of his 25K '00 Wrangler!
He swears the sand is 10 times more fun than rock climbing ... I might agree ...
I did have to go rescue him just before the Holiday dinner in my (his old) CJ-7 with it's 35's and winch... he'd buried the old red one to both axels .... funny sight !!!... especially because he was in this Thanksgiving dinner dress clothes stranded out in the middle of the wash.
I let him drive me in the new CJ out there the next day and I swear he was trying his best to roll it ....
The next weekend, Terry Howe came down from Colo Spgs with a few of his buds and they/we climbed some of last fall's ARCA gates, RJ's trail, Rif Raf, the White Dome, Cobra, Waterfall, Brown's and a few other of Chokecherries offerings ... had a ball!!!
Ya'll come on out to see us some time ... ya hear .....

Yeah John, I wish I coulda gone, sounded like fun. Jeep will be back together this week, almost hate to put the new motor in, its so darn pretty, Ford dark blue, aluminum black and polished valve cover. Almost hate to get it dirty (yeah right!).

I hope that you pray every night(I do) that Gore doesn't get in to the White House/wwwthreads_images/icons/crazy.gif or ya'll might end up in the same boat as we are./wwwthreads_images/icons/blush.gif I bought on one of those topo maps of Pa. from Wall Mart and have been searching for some of the Jeep trails that are marked in the state gamelands on the map. Most are closed but I have found some that aren't. They are nothing to the trails you guys got out west have but I'm new to this(Jeepin) and these little trails are just a learning experience for the real trails/wwwthreads_images/icons/cool.gif you guys got. Hope to meet some of ya'll on the trail some day./wwwthreads_images/icons/smile.gif If we don't get some snow here(DelMarVa) before New Years I'm going looking for it,/wwwthreads_images/icons/wink.gif "I WILL PLAY(slowly) IN THE SNOW IF IT KILLS ME"/wwwthreads_images/icons/blush.gif
