If you had to choose just one jeep to have for the rest of your life.. what/whos would you choose?...it must be a jeep that actually exists
my vote goes for the AEV conversions "brute" ..it has it all.. beauty, ability, funtion.

Are we allowed to continue to build on it?

If so; first choice, the one I've got...

Second choice...your wife's, the one you were trying to sell a few months ago, well thought out, well built.

Third choice...mmmm....maybe Mossy...cause' nobody beleives that it actually runs.

If the AEV was closer in form to the original CJ-8 it might be more to my liking. Don't really like the separate cab/bed look.

Maybe something like this:

What do you mean "IF"?

Been driving the same one for over 16 years. With all the different top/door combinations I have for it though, it's like a different Jeep every season. This is still my favorite.

I'd just like the frame to an origianl MB years 1941-45...So when my boy is old enough we could build it together and by the time he'd be 16 and get his drivers license he'd be more respectful of that Jeep because his blood and sweat went into it too. Plus I think a built MB would be really cool. And maybe he'd let the ol' man(that's me) borrow it once and awhile.

My first choice would be a Brute Rubicon
My second choice would be the only version of a Jeep pick-up I've yet to own: the Willys Pick-up, preferably the '47-49 models with the flat fenders and a 225 Buick V-6 odd-fire and a pair of Scout D44s under it.

I would want a M715 on newer 1 tons maybe a 60 and a 14 bolt with 4.56 gears and 39" tires. Then a nice big block to pull it around something like a 455 buick... Then to go behind the tow vehicle.... I mean you have to have a tow vehicle if your really serious that way you don't have to worry about breaking... It would be a really long green contraption on Rockwells.... yep that is the jeep I want....

It's a 1944 military willys. it has a 5.0 ford v8, full custom roll cage, everything. It's for sale on ebay right now but i don't have 15k to pay for it. if i did i would buy that thing like there was no tomorrow.

Bigman I appreciate it but I think my fiance' would kill me if I bought anything else right now with saving for the wedding and all...the prospect of new tires is not far away, and I finally got a tow vehicle today I have to pick it up in Indiana this weekend. I think she'd leave me or shoot me if I spend anymore.\
