No, There was a bulliten to remove it or plumb around it. There was also a bulliten to remove the vapor door in the air cleaner. The problem with the vapor door is hot soak, and causing a hot re-start problem.

Currently my PCV is connected to the carb, vapor can, and one of the pulse air tubes. Is this correct? What is the vapor door? Is it the door in the snorkel that closes for cold weather starts?

Thanks,

The purpose of the PCV solenoid is to block the PCV line when the engine RPM drops below about 1200 RPM....this is to allow the engine to idle at a lower RPM. It does not hurt anything for it to not be there if you don't mind the higher RPM and slight lean mis.
