I was wondering if anyone knows where I can get a pattern for the interior door panels on a 70 jeepster? I am trying to get a pattern so I can make some would panels for mine.

Thanks

If you mean the panels that cover up the reversed "D" opening in the door, I have exactly what you need. [insert Mr.Hainey voice] "A pair of genuine immitation 7-ply hardwood custom fit door panels made for King of Knox County". Actually, the PO did a pretty nice job on them using marine plywood and spar varnish, but several years in the weather behind the ToadWorx have taken it's toll. The laminations are beginning to seperate and give me splinters everytime I reach for the seatbelt

.

In other words, I'd be happy to trace them onto some butcher paper if you'd like

They cover the entire door, not just the access hole.

Okay guys,

I'm sure you all knew I meant wood panels. I was just in a hurry to get to the emergency room to see my aunt. Sorry I confused you all.

Dave,
Do you have any photos of the wood door panels you are talking about? I was thinking of just a template of the vinyl covered panels that clips into the access panel, but what you are talking about sounds pretty neat too.

Thanks

Hey David,

I am looking for the vinyl covered panels that clip into the acess panel on the door. I figured it would be easier to get a template than to try and make one myself. We are planning on going to Boone for the Jam this year. I hope we will see you there.

Thanks

Hey all... If there are a few people interested I'd be willing to make up a batch at work (I'm a woodworker by day). I've already done a wooden speedo/tach panel and an auxilliary guage cluster from poplar and planned on making door inserts to match. It might take a week or so but I could make up a sample so you can see it (although I doubt it would be much different than Dave's). If anyone's interested let me know, if I can make 1 I can make 20!

Dave the photo looks like what I am looking for. If it isn't too much trouble could you make me some templates. I will be glad to reimburse you for your time and supplies.

I tried to send you an e-mail twice to the address on your profile. I know you said you didn't get the first one, however I'm not sure about the second one so I thought I would try to get up with this way. If this is a duplicate just ignore it.

Thanks
