I'm doing a 5.0L conversion on my 82 CJ-7 and I need some parts to make this swap. I have an 87 5.0L long block that I'm rebuilding and converting over to a MAF set-up. I need the engine, fuel rail and O2 wiring harnesses from an 87 'Stang. Does anyone have these parts (preferably used), or know of any good places to look for them on the Net?

TIA
Dean

Your local bone yard would be the best choice. You might also take a look at the lincolns from that time period too. You would probably save $$ on the same parts from the same junkyard if it came from a Lincoln instead. Oh and keep in mind the other multitude of vehicles that used MAF on a 302 in the 80s and 90s. F150s maybe but probably not? What about Tbirds? Merc Grand Marquis? Crown Vic? LTD? I went on a hunt for a good harness once and found about 12 MAF 302 fords in one junkyard. Oh and I have been told that if you use a computer from a vehicle that had an auto tranny you will get better performance. Go to www.bronco.com for some good info. Here is a link on that site that should be just what you want--->
