I am rebuilding my Pinzgauer drivetrain.

The rebuild will include a set of improved pinion gears for the rear differential, a balanced front driveshaft for reduced vibrations at highway speeds and replacement of any other worn parts along the way.

Ack how did your kick come out after the bodywork ? Have fun with the Pinz I will keep an eye on your site as you progress . I like to see different drivelines and how they work .

I bought a front clip off a black '96 Tracker in a junk yard (no title -- PERFECT body!) and carefully cut the body framing and wheel wells down to a nice fit. I used wire welding and steel pop rivits with plates to splice it all back togeter. Except for the color change forward of the doors, it looks sharp!

Except for a bit of belt squealing, it runs exactly like it did before the accident. I guess I got lucky...
