Ok, I know you all have em, so lets hear your best way to relieve that nasty hangover.
Mine seems to be a couple aspirin, vitamin B12, and Pepsi.
Works great.

Yeah...but if you're drunk enough, you'll puke all over yourself, so what's the difference?

Jeepzilla....I agree wholeheartedly with you on the SoCo...That sweet smell... ~gags~ I used to like it...that's before I spent the evening tasting it twice. I never had the same reaction with anything else.

Vicoden

Hangovers are from partially from dehydration, but mostly a result of your body breaking down the alcohol. That takes time. If you don't have time, try Vicoden. It works, well. But don't make it a habit, literally.

Re: Vicoden

An old friend swore by the 1/2 gallon of water before bed. He said it'd either make you OK in the AM or make you puke it all up right then!

Several years ago in my pseudo-alcoholic stage (just trying to outdo the other jarheads), I always took 2 "Goodies" and washed it down with LARGE Gatorade. Works pretty good after a weekend of beating the knuckles against Jeep hardware too. You know, fingers swollen to point you can't work the zipper on your fly!/wwwthreads_images/icons/shocked.gif

We had a really bad business/work meeting a while back and decided drinking was in our best interest afterwards. Our UPS guy told my co-worker the next day to drink "Pedialite"
he said all the "Rock" groups use this and some have it negotiated into tour contracts to help them recover from the rock n roll life style.. just think... several flavors to choose from.. orange, fruit punch.. uugghh grape flavor with a hangover..

"It's not ugly! It just has a lot of "Character"!

Hmmm, Willy...I think it'd be a good bet that you drank more before they became ex's, right? I think it's known as the nag factor...

..you know they didn't really nag...it was just a differance of opinion...they all thought marriage was a fifty fifty thing and I thought it was sixty forty...but the real strange part was the judge always thought it was about ninty to ten split....

WildWilly, nope, narry a drop of liquor has ever passed through my lips...

I'll chase women (OK, I used to ... the wife put a stop to that when she chased me and I caught her /wwwthreads_images/icons/wink.gif)and cus a little once in a while, and I love to tell puns... other than that Jeeps are my only bad habit!

When I feel like ass in the morning or afternoon..Pepsi, and spicy food..Mexican usually does the trick..Taco Bell is another sure bet...get's everything moving in the pipes..But the hair of the dog is always a good bet..I know I need to drink water before bed, but who thinks of that as they're falling flat on their face?

I know that most mornings I should just go gag myself and purge, but I HATE puking so I'll suffer for 5 or so hours rather than curing it right then and there..

SoCo war story... I was in college in Gunnison, CO at Western State (nicknamed Wasted State). A buddy and I bought a handle of that crap and started drinking it with Lipton Tea. Ran out of tea half way through the bottle... Too drunk to remember the soda machine at the end of the hall we finished the bottle straight...

The next morning we got up and stuffed my old XJ full with 6 people, 4 snowboards, and 2 sets of skis and gear and headed for Wolf Creek (4 hours away). I don't recommend trying to cure a hangover by driving in blizzard conditions on a mountain pass with 5 smelly hippies. I painted the side of my XJ a few times but refused to give up the wheel since it was the only seat with room to breathe!!

Well I have to deal with my hangover today from drinking too much last night. Lets look at the tally, and yes i mixed real badly. Two of those large Heinekens bottles (pint + 8oz), 4 miller lights, & 2 Irish Car Bombs (Guiness + a shot of mixed Bailys cream and Jameson Wiskey)
I actually dont feel as harsh, guess it was the good Guiness. I am at work and I brought my pitcher of Ice tea. That is nector. And hopefully i will have Mexican for lunch, now the qualities of good chips and salsa seem to fix a hangover. Usually I drink water before bed, but passed out beforehand. And drink Guiness, and get no hangovers. That stuff is good. Jager will be mean to you, but it tastes so kind of good, if you like the caugh syrup, but it still goes down.

Water Water Water.

Before, During and After.

Second on the list is the O2 in the morning. "No really boss, it was empty when I came in... I know you just filled it last week, maybe it's got a leak."

The next best thing is to bum 1 beer off a budy the night before, and hide it under your pillow. Then when you wake up, crack it open and bye bye Mr. Hangover.

I think the worst part about drinking a two-six of rum with Coke, is that it's been two months already, and I feel like I'm going to vomit ever time I smell coke or Pepsi.
It's instant nausia, and headache.
