Currently have DirecTV satelite. Moving in two weeks. I can have them move the satelite, but they want me to commit to another year of service. Can I move and mount this thing myself? It doesn't look too complicated.

yes... you can do this yourself.. you need the azmith for your new place... at the least... or look around at the other dishes.. i just built one here in iraq for our room in the barraks... had to get several pieces from the habeebs... and then i just looked at the others.. had to drag the tv and box up to the roof.. so i could adjust it in.. which took about 2 hours.. i have no ideal what i plan i have... it just started working.. so we are happy...

It's a piece of cake. I bought mine off the internet, so I didn't have the free install. Installed it myself, took about a hour. Just line it up, plug it in and you are back to watchin the tv.

My dad did ours here in British Columbia (StarChoice)

There was a grid.. that corresponded to location. and then a bunch of settings.. (pitch and yaw, compass heading)

Just set it up on the right side of your place.. and dial in the settings.. and then you fine tune it.

It takes a couple of hours if its your first time.. but it's not too hard.
