One more time on Caster

I am swapping in a set of Dana 44s (Scout) on to my 79 CJ7 and need to know how much caster it needs. I hear from 2 to 8 degrees. I am rotating the knuckles back and want to get it pretty close. Not sure 2 will do it and 8 degrees seems like a lot. I will be running about a 3" to 4" lift on the jeep. Thanks.

It seems to me that there is a "sweet spot" somewhere around 6 degrees....
But it is a rather complex issue.

I'm have something like 6 deg., and that works very good for me....
4" Pro-crap lift, 33x12.5" BFG All terrain and 10" wheels w/4" backspacing.
All mounted on an '86 CJ7.
