Someone was looking for an Idea for high back seats, that would still let passsengers in back. I was sitting in the back seat of 1999 Suburban the other day when I realized that the single jump seat that alows access to the back on the passenger side. I think with a little inginuity and some welding it may alow ample access to the back. I will take measuements and let everybody know if it will work. The only problem is how to make the drivers side move backwards and forwardsm, but ive got an idea. Let me know what you think.

I've got this idea that I haven't tried yet. If you double stack a set of after market sliders then in the event of letting the rear passengers in and out you could slide both sets of sliders forward so the front seat would almost touch the dash.
If I remember corectly, when the seat of a Honda civic was fliped forward that the slider was also released automaticly and the seat slid freely and when you pushed it back it would slide back to the original position and latch. I imaging other vehicle models would do this too.

Has anyone looked at the TJ seats? I had a '97 that the passenger seat pulled forward, and rose up to allow access to the back seat. The drivers side functioned as it should.

I just purchased a used 1995 S-10 extended cab. The pass seat slides extend way forwards for access to the rear part. the floor seems fairly flat. These move forward at least 12 inches. they don't allow the seat to flip forward but that could be fixed easily. You can probably find these in the bone yards easily. The seats arn't too bad either.

Hey Andy, what did those seats you gave me come out of?
I put them in, but the pass seat wont tilt with a fixed back. Thanks Bud! I was thinking of building a mount that hinges the seat outside and upside-down, where it acts like a step to give access to the back. If I put a spring and solonoid lock on it, i can eject the passenger!
