OK, so I\'ll dig up a spare now......

Went wheeling yesterday, well actually I drove to the trail and turned around. I was getting a funny noise from my rear hybrid diff. Didn't want to take a chance on staying stuck up in the woods so I came right back home.
I pulled the axles to find a bad wheel bearing and a funny axle. I'll be pulling the 3rd to see if the welded spiders are still holding......

Here is what driving your welded diff, 33"-35" tired rig as a DD can do.....

Actually Danny, it doesnt look like you tried hard enough that should be sheared through if you were doing it right..LOL

It's been a year since I built the rear hybrid and it's seen a lot of on road and some good trail riding. So all that considered, I don't find the outcome that bad.
I wanted to save the Toy's for my "other" project but I think I might just put them under this rig..
I was screwing around with Photo Shop last night and came up with this to.......

Just out of curiosity is that the(short side) passenger side axle shaft ? Mine twisted the short side on my welded diff. but not the driver side.

twisted my short side shaft as well with 33in tires and a lockright other than bearings it is the first axle part I have damaged

Think of trying chromo shafts in your hydrid? Lot less work.
