Quick question here...I replaced my valve cover gasket a few weeks back, by taking the utmost time and care, I managed to seal it very well. No leaks for the past month. However, oil seems to be leaking out of the top of the valve cover, from the breather element on the back of the valve cover. I also had a leak from my dipstick. I removed and degreased both parts, and the used some black RTV to seal them. Hopefully they'll hold.
Onto the question:
My oil pressure reads about 20-25psi at 1500rpm...
What would cause oil to leak from the top of the valve cover?
Too much crankcase pressure would be my guess...but I replace the PCV valve a little while back, and when I remove it, I feel a good bit of vaccuum.
