Im so proud...Not a newbie anymore...
Not that it means anything to ya'll, just got so excited...
Im done now.
Actually, not yet. Tonight, we took that expensive paddle tire off the 80 and put the knobbie back on it...I got to sit on her and start her up. Felt so good. Can't wait till I can ride. Gonna go beat up the trucks tomorrow in the mountains, but a few more weeks till desert and bike season...
Ok, now Im really done.

Sorry took so long, sonething wrong with my computer. Now on a different one, let's see how this works.
Anayway, I have not been to Glammis. Heard stories about it, though, about these sort of NeoNazi bonfire parties and how people's bikes and person gets beat up and broken...Sounded like a lot of crap to put up with. Then again, must not be all that bad, but because a lot of people do seem to go there...
What have you heard?

Gotta be able to party?
Hmm...I think I forgot to take the class on how to party...
Usually, when I go out to the sand, it's the fewer strangers, the better..More unemcumbered riding area, can do whatcha like...
And I have found this problem: when there's other people around, harder to find a place to pee where they can;t see you.
Are there toilets there?

"Yes, they're real."

Glamis is a sand dune area about 4 hours from San Diego. Labor Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, etc are all big holidays out there. Large crowds, lots of chrome, off the wall stuff. Everything from $100k trucks to Sandrails, to Banshee's with over 100hp.

Yes, there are toilets there. There is also a store in town. Yes, the stories about burning VW blocks are true. They are magnesium, and they burn very hot, for a very long time. I usually go out there about 4 times a year. I have a 94 CR250, pretty much a Pro Circuit Factory bike that I bought off a racer. If you go to Glamis, come with a group. It's not a lovey dovey couples type place. More the "anything goes" type place, and a non-stop party. To see trucks with the beds completely full of cases of beer is not an uncommon sight. =) See ya

It could get a hole lot freakier in here but it is a dirtbike forum. I'm suprised it's stayed as sivalized as it has. Especally with the comment about the mommy parts being real and all. Truthfully thats kinda turning me on.

I know you got something funny to say about that yzroostinme
