/wwwthreads_images/icons/tongue.gif Don't bet the farm on it just yet, TR....don't forget that nowadays you can contract a mysterious disease in the jungles of the Amazon, and where once you croaked on the ship that took weeks to get you back home, now you are in Johns Hopkins Med Ctr before they even know what's ailing you, and it could easily be somethin"new" that knocks 'em down like tenpins. The potential for "trimming" the population is enourmous for that and for a dozen other reasons. This ol "Mudball" (I like your term) will most likely outlive us and so will the majority of the critters on it. Just as you said, it's now natural selection in reverse. The gene pool is getting somewhat murky. If you doubt that just spend a day at Wal-Mart./wwwthreads_images/icons/frown.gif
