I apologize for any inconvenience I may cause I just want a chance to plug my offroad club website. It still in the developement stage. Check it out, sign the guest book, visit the messageboards, chat in the chatroom, and if you have any info at all pertaining to Ford and there fine products please email it to me along with the pics. I can't pay anyone as this is all volunteer on my part. If you have any sort of tech info I will post it and give you full credit for it. Depending also if anyones intrested I may give them the status of section editor.

Thank you for your time,
Jess

a lot of comments were made we should remember we all have a common goal ,wheeling to fishing to dirtbikes what a country but if we do not stick together it will all be taken away. Toys-fords-chevy and others we get a choice other country's don't. most toys now days are union made by
us men and women and the money does not always end up over seas they re-invest in the factorys and workers in the GOOD OL USA... Great new site Chuki

Nah, you're right, I was talking out my ass about the brakes thing. I just didn't figure they would be very beefy because normally they don't have to stop a very big truck. Is it safe to tow 5000 pounds behind a truck that weighs less than that? I wouldn't do it, but I applaud your balls. Hopefully you won't kill anybody.

Oh ya.. Eco-Wackos like Gay Steve are going to save the World from us /wwwthreads_images/icons/smile.gif
I really hate there "Do as I say NOT as I do" attitude they have, it reminds me of there hero Bill Clinton.

Re: WTF

Umm, eco wackos don't drive ford broncos off road, they drive honda civics and camrys on road. Four wheeling is really only a small percentage of our problem anyway...it's mainly our exponentially growing expansion and development rate in america.

Re: WTF

Yes, you're right, but some of us would like our vehicles to be able to "multi-task". Like i said earlier, if all i wanted to have was a "go anywhere" vehicle I would hop on FourTrax and go wherever the hell I feel like, getting 100 mpg to boot. I've gone everywhere I care to go in my truck off road, and I pull boats and trailers too, so I guess I'm getting a better value with my truck, aren't I? I can even go get the wife's groceries, as has been stated. :)

Re: WTF

Actually a lot of the people who contribute to the eco-nuts drive SUV's and big vehicles rather than small silly cars like civics and camrys... /wwwthreads_images/icons/crazy.gif Ridiculous isn't it? But true...

Like the protest the Sierra Klub had in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge where they used DC3 aircraft and then snowmobiles to get to where they wanted (really fits with their claims of wanting to be enviro. friendly right?)... /wwwthreads_images/icons/crazy.gif

Just remembered that item...

Actually sometimes it's a good idea to have a regular vehicle and a tow vehicle. /wwwthreads_images/icons/crazy.gif Best part about that is if the trail rig breaks down you can always get it home, easily and inexpensively behind the tow vehicle... /wwwthreads_images/icons/tongue.gif

To which broncobill replies:
This is FORD not jap junk thanks!"

broncobill, you apparently have a screw loose. Chuki goes to all the trouble to gather up 4-wheeling enthusiasts that he knows (most of whom just HAPPEN to own Toyotas), pay for web developement, have logos designed, set up meetings & runs, and then heads right here to the Ford board to invite you to join in on the fun, and what do you do? You insult him. Do you have even the SLIGHTEST idea how much effort goes into forming a legitimate 4wd club? I doubt it, because you're just the type of person who will bring this sport down with him rather than try to BUILD IT UP. You're lucky that Chuki responded so harshly after your first post, otherwise I doubt you'd have many folks backing you here.

Dude comes here to say, "Hey, tell me about your truck, send pictures, come wheel with us". And you tell him "phuck off". Nice, real nice. And people wonder why our trails disappear.

I was watching some vidoes on the internet of Old Broncos crawling and they had a tow strap on the front bumper and people were holding on to it to keep it from rolling backwards? Is this common? You guys are nuts but I would like to get another truck and try it...looks like fun.

Ok now I like aftermarket Bumpers but stuff like that is going overboard.. That'll sag your springs out quicker then sh!t... Mines not to bad could be better, once I get more money I'll be able to replace front springs with ease, so I can run softer springs for better ride and flex.
