After looking at the local hardware stores, I realized the pices and parts needed to complete my OBA setup are not readily availible. I need the smallest parts like a check valve, pressure switch, etc. Been to Harbor Freight, I want to check out a few other sources than Kilby Enterprises who are great, but I would like some place relatively local to run in/out of. Unfortunately TeamRush is no longer avilible
to buy his goods, which I am sure I would not need to return.

So, the question is, what othe type of stores should I look for this stuff, and does anyone know of a good place in the east/south Bay area CA?

TIA

I realize that even chain stores carry differnt stuff from place to place. and I also realize that a lot of people don't like the big chain stores like home depo because of the fact that they drive so many smaller places out. But all of that being said.
My local Home Depo carries just about any and every air related fitting you could ever need. Any time I do anything with air lines, it is a one stop shop for me. If you do not have a local Home Depo, I am sure you could order the stuff on line.

Thanks Olin, looked there, they have fittings and hoses, but not check valves and pressure (small) switches.

I have never been able to find any of the smaller switches or check valves at local supply stores. I have always had to order them online. One place to check is hydraulic hose suppliers and bearing companies. They tend to also supply some air control devices. I am able to purchase lots of hose and fittings from one of my local bearing houses, that doubles as a hydraulic hose supply house. There are many places online that sell switches and check valves. I have used viair for switches before.

I dealt with Kilby to get a new clutch pulley - he made me take some measurements prior to completing the order. I had no problems dealing with him. I also bought the check valve and pressure relief valve from him - all have lasted for several years now with no problems. FWIW

Do you have an interstate welding by you? I know they are in MI and i think WI, maybe nation wide. They are a welding supply but also carry a lot of tools, compressors and what not and if they don't have it in stock could probably get what you need.
