I am John Kerry and I would like your vote in the upcoming election. Here is where I stand...

I am John Kerry.

I was against the first Iraq war, I am against the second Iraq war, but I voted for it. Now I'm against it but I was for it. I support the UN. I'm against terrorism and against the Iraq war. But I voted for the Iraq war. So, I voted against the first war and supported the second war, wait... Now, I just want to return to a world where terrorism is simply considered a nuisance.

I'm against gay marriage but for gay unions. I support gays but think the San Francisco mayor is wrong. I support gay marriages. No, wait, gay unions.

I'm Catholic. Wait, I'm Jewish. My dad was Jewish. But I was raised Catholic. What am I? I don't want to confuse people.

I am for abortions, but wait, I'm Catholic, and Catholics are pro-life. But I might consider putting pro-life judges in office, but I'm not sure. I do know I voted for a pro-life judge, but I stated at the time

that it was a mistake.

I went to Vietnam. But I was against Vietnam. I testified against fellow US troops in Vietnam, threw my medals away and led others to do the same. But I am a war hero. Against the war.

I stated I threw my medals away then I threw my ribbons away. I then revealed that I threw my ribbons away but not my medals, then I stated that I threw someone else's medals away and never threw anything of mine away.

I believe Ribbons and medals aren't the same thing. Medals come with ribbons, so now I believe that ribbons and medals are the same thing besides the fact that ribbons are cloth and medals are metal.

I wrote a book that pictured the US flag upside-down on its cover. But now I fly and campaign in a plane with a large flag right-side up on it. But sometimes, we fly upside-down for fun.

Yasser Arafat is a hero and a statesman. The Israelis shouldn't kill Palestinian terrorists, but they should stop terrorism. Yasser Arafat is a terrorist supporter. I support Mideast peace.

I am for the common man, unlike Bush. I am against the rich. But my family is worth 600 million dollars, own 5 homes, have a jet and many SUVs.

I am the comman man.

I am against sending jobs overseas. My wife is a Heinz heir, but Heinz has nearly all their factories offshore. I am against rewarding companies for exporting jobs aslong as it is not Heinz. I'm for only buying products made in the USA, except, of course, buying prescription drugs from Canada rather than US companies.

I own $1 million in Wal Mart stock. I believe Wal Mart is evil by driving small busness owners out of town. I am a capitalist and I own part of Wal Mart but I am a good guy for small corporate America .

I own SUVs when I talk to my followers in Detrot, MI. When I talk to tree hugging followers, Teresa owns SUVs, I don't. I have a campaign jet that gets 1/3 mpg but I'm not greedy for fuel.

I am against making military service an issue in presidential elections. I defended draft dodger Clinton and stated that all serve in their own capacity whether they draft dodge or not. Did I mention, I served in Vietnam and I am a hero? Are you questioning my patriotism? I served in Vietnam. My opponent didn't. I have three purple hearts! And a Silver Star with a Combat "V". I am qualified to run this county since I an a hero and

I served in Vietnam.

I am John Kerry.

Scares me to death to think the polls are tied right now...

I think it is wrong for you guys to criticize Sen. Kerry for being "flexible" in his ideology. Remeber, he has "a plan", or "the plan" or "my plan".

We just don't know what the plan is. Except for the "plan" to subvert our foreign policy to the U.N. I think I'm the only one who didn't get a kick-back from the Oil-For-Food scam. Show me the money!

OOPs! I almost forgot. John Kerry's terrorism "plan" is to downgrade all terrorists acts to "nuisances".

2004 Election
I'm trying to get all this political stuff straightened out in my head so I'll know how to vote come November.
Right now, we have one guy saying 1 thing. Then the other guy says something else. Who to believe.
Lemme see; have I got this straight?

Clinton awards Halliburton no-bid contract in Yugoslavia - good...
Bush awards Halliburton no-bid contract in Iraq - bad...

Clinton spends 77 billion on war in Serbia - good...
Bush spends 87 billion in Iraq - bad...

Clinton imposes regime change in Serbia - good...
Bush imposes regime change in Iraq - bad...

Clinton bombs Christian Serbs on behalf of Muslim Albanian terrorists- good...
Bush liberates 25 million from a genocidal dictator - bad...

Clinton bombs Chinese embassy - good...
Bush bombs terrorist camps - bad..

Clinton commits felonies while in office - good...
Bush lands on aircraft carrier in jumpsuit - bad...

No mass graves found in Serbia - good...
No WMD found Iraq - bad...

Stock market crashes in 2000 under Clinton - good...
Economy on upswing under Bush - bad...

Clinton refuses to take custody of Bin Laden - good...
World Trade Centers fall under Bush - bad...

Clinton says Saddam has nukes - good...
Bush says Saddam has nukes - bad...

Clinton calls for regime change in Iraq - good...
Bush imposes regime change in Iraq - bad...

Terrorist training in Afghanistan under Clinton - good...
Bush destroys training camps in Afghanistan - bad...

Milosevic not yet convicted - good...
Saddam turned over for trial - bad...

Ahh, it's so confusing! Every year an independent tax watchdog group analyzes the average tax burden on Americans,
& then calculates the "Tax Freedom Day". This is the day after which the money you earn goes to you, not the government.
This year, tax freedom day was Apr 11th. That's the earliest it has been since 1991. It's latest day ever was May 2nd,
which occurred in 2000. Notice anything special about those dates?

Recently, John Kerry gave a speech in which he claimed Americans are actually paying more taxes under Bush,
despite the tax cuts. He gave no explanation & provided no data for this claim.

Another interesting fact: Both George Bush & John Kerry are wealthy men. Bush owns only 1 home, his ranch in Texas.
Kerry owns 4 mansions, all worth several million dollars. His ski resort home in Idaho is an old barn brought over from Europe in pieces.
Not your average A-frame.

Bush paid $250,000 in taxes this year; Kerry paid $90,000. Does that sound right? The man who wants to raise your taxes obviously
has figured out a way to avoid paying his own.

This is getting good!

Add this to the collection. It's exagerrated. A little.

JOB APPLICATION

NAME: John Kerry

RESIDENCE: 7 mansions, including one in Washington DC, worth multi-millions. I served in Vietnam (four months).

EXPERIENCE: Law Enforcement. In my career as a U.S. Senator, I've voted to cut every law enforcement, CIA, and Defense bill. I ordered the city of Boston to remove a fire hydrant in front of my mansion, thereby endangering my neighbors in the event of fire. I served in Vietnam (four months).

MILITARY: I served in Vietnam (four months). I used three minor injuries to get an early discharge from the military and service in Vietnam (as documented by the attending doctor). I served in Vietnam (four months). I then returned to the U.S., joined Jane Fonda in protesting the war, and insulted returning Vietnam vets, claiming they committed atrocities and were baby killers. I served in Vietnam (four months). I threw my medals, ribbons, or something away in protest. Or did I? My book "Vietnam Veterans Against the War: The New Soldier", shows how I truly feel about the military. I served in Vietnam (four months).

COLLEGE: I graduated from Yale University with a low C average. Unlike my counterpart George Bush, I have no higher education and did not get admitted to Harvard nor graduate with an M.B.A

PAST WORK EXPERIENCE: After College and Vietnam, I ran for the U.S. Congress and have been there ever since. I have no real world experience except marrying very rich women and running their companies vicariously through them. I served in Vietnam (four months).

ACCOMPLISHMENTS: As a U.S. Senator I set the record for the most liberal voting record, exceeding even Ted Kennedy and Hillary Clinton. I have consistently failed to support our military and CIA by voting against their budgets, thus gutting our country's ability to defend itself. Although I voted for the Iraq War, now I am against it and refuse to admit that I voted for it. I voted for every liberal piece of legislation. I have no plan to help this country but I intend to raise taxes significantly if I am elected. I served in Vietnam (four months).

My wealth so far exceeds that of my counterpart, George Bush, that he will never catch up. I make little or no charitable contributions and have never agreed to pay any voluntary excess taxes in Massachusetts, despite family wealth in excess of $ 700 million. I served in Vietnam (four months).

I (we) own 28 manufacturing plants (Heinz) outside of the U.S. in places like Asia, Mexico and Europe. We can make more profit from the cheaper cost of labor in those Countries, although I blame George Bush for sending all of the other jobs out of Country. I served in Vietnam (four months).

Although I claim to be in favor of alternative energy sources, Ted Kennedy and I oppose windmills off Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard as it might spoil our view of the ocean as we cruise on our yachts. I served in Vietnam (four months).

RECORDS AND REFERENCES: None. However, I served in Vietnam (four months).

PERSONAL I practice my Catholic faith whenever cameras are present. I ride a Serotta Bike. I love to ski/snowboard. I call my Gulfstream V Jet the "Flying Squirrel". I call my $850,000 42-foot Hinckley twin diesel yacht the "Scarmouche".

I am fascinated by rap and hip-hop and feel it reflects our real culture.

I own several "Large" SUVs including one parked at my Nantucket summer mansion, though I am against large, polluting, inefficient vehicles and blame George Bush for our energy problems. I served in Vietnam (four months).

PLEASE CONSIDER MY EXPERIENCE WHEN VOTING IN 2004.

My Dad was in a little place called Subic Bay at one time. As a Navy Diver and Diesel Mechanic, he was attached to a barge that didn't have the diginity of a name, simply a number: the YR71. The YR71 was attached to Operation Market Time North and sent to Denang. Along with them went the very first detachments of Swift Boats. My Father was never a "Swift Boat Sailor", he's merely one of the early guys who figured out how to take them from 28 knots to 32. Besides keeping the Swifts running as good and fast as he could, my dad also got to help out on patrols. Little things like diving under boats to make sure they didn't have something strapped on the hull under the waterline. He lost a friend to a concussion grenade doing that sort of thing. He's got lots of interesting stories about his time in Vietnam, and I keep trying to pry more out of him. At 63 he's seen a lot more of the world, and life than I have. He doesn't like Kerry much, and I don't blame him. He "was there, did that" long before a jumped up butter bar like Kerry ever showed up. On the strength of my father's advice alone I'd be inclined to note vote for Kerry.

Myself, at age 32 however, I like to think for myself. One big tenant of what I do for a living is that a poor decision made at the right time is better than no decision at all. Bush makes decisions. Kerry can't decide to be on the left of the fence, the right of the fence, or to straddle it. I know who I'm voting for in November.

Oh, and to keep this jeep related a picture (again, I know I post it a lot!) of my favorite president:

Oh, that's Gorby in the passenger seat....

Driving home tonight we saw a little rice-mobile with 2 bumper stickers on the back. One was a Kerry/Edwards sticker...the other said:

"Of all the things I've lost, I miss my mind the most..."

Now don't that just make you chuckle...

Let's start a group..."Mindless people for Kerry/Edwards"

And the hits juse keep on coming.

A 3rd grade teacher in a small Vermont town asks her class how many of them are John Kerry fans. All the kids except one raise their hands.

The teacher asks Little Johnny why he's not a John Kerry fan.

Johnny says, "I'm a George Bush fan."

The teacher asks why he's a George Bush fan.

Johnny says, "Well, my mom's a George Bush fan and my dad's a George Bush fan, so I'm a George Bush fan!"

The teacher asks, "If your Mom was a moron and your Dad was an idiot, then what would you be?"

Johnny replied, "Well, I guess I'd be a John Kerry fan."

my sister told this one to me, and claims its a true story from someone she knows......im not sure, but its funny anyways

so theres a girl she knows who just graduated and work really hard, didnt party much and got a 4.0 GPA....much to her dads dismay, she tends to vote liberal.

one day in conversation she mentions how her old roomate who hasnt graduated yet is really struggleing with grades cuz she goes out too much and likes to party and not study

so her dad mentions that she could help her roomate.... she asks how...

dad answers, just go to the Dean, and ask him to take one of your GPA points and add it to hers, that way you can both have good GPAs.

the daughter replies "but dad, thats not fair, I worked hard for those grades"

dad: "welcome back to the republican party sweety"

Ok, lets get really serious about this. So nobody likes John Kerry. Well, lets see....Do any of them really look out for people like you and me. NOPE. I wish we could get America focused on the problems at hand rather than, my dad can beat up your dad. I don't care if you are Republican or Democrat...if you aren't going to help this country then get out of the way. When we have two candidates that can spend 1 billion each on a darn campaign something is wrong. When drug companies spend more on advertising than R and D (yet they claim that is why Americans need to spend more for their drugs than the same drugs they sell to Canada for less money) than we have a problem. I wish we had some Uniters out there. That is what this country needs. A uniter, preferably one that has actually had to look for a job, and actually had to work for a living. GW nor JK have had to work for a thing their entire life. They were born with two feet in the door I wonder what they would do if they had $100 in their bank account and they knew that their last paycheck was coming next friday and they couldn't find a job in their small town, even though they borrowed tens of thousand of dollars to educate themselves ( because that is what I am facing right now). They can't fathom that....and that is the overriding problem with politics in america. We need people who love america, not money. We need people who work hard and maybe it wouldn't be a bad thing if they had had to work hard. We need people like you and me...people with heart, people who put their money where their mouth is, people who can bring this country together, get some things done and make america all the better for it.

So please vote, but after this election, lets all look inside, and make decisions and make moves to limit this bipartisanship. It does no good. It solves nothing and we are all guilty. Be great Americans. Lets start a middle class party for people who work, hard.

Sorry for the long rant, but we need to unite and take care of each other. No other country is going to do it.
