Here are just a few. I was thinking of how nice it is up here in the fall, and what you guys in the south are missing out on. Your stuff down there is just too green for me. The trees up here look like they're on fire, these pics don't do them justice as they're scanned. The season is just about gone, so it's into the depths of winter for 6 months, but it means WINTER WHEELING! Oh yeah, and skiing, winter camping, ice fishing, and just generally freezing your butt off. Makes spring all the sweeter though.

Dam Jeepn! Now why'd ya have to go and do that!/wwwthreads_images/icons/wink.gif I just took my NH plates off my vehilces today and this make me want to putem back on and drive home!

Seeing this is really making me miss fall up in New England. I can just imagine what the view would have been like from up on my land in Antrim, NH.

But hey, the weather is finally turning here and its feeling down right nice! 6 months of this, (and I can visit the snow/cold when I want too..) might not be too bad.

I apolgize to all for the unnecessary and repetitive entries. I've had my mouse to the vets many time for stuttering and I thought he was cured. He contends he had the hick-ups from the fumes of my adult beverage .

Hey, we got trees down here. They turn more brown and orange, not that red that ya'll got up there. I like the brown and orange more so than the red but its all purdy. All I have to do is wait about a month, look outside my window see the pond the woods will all the leaves and its great, I love livin in the country.

Thanks Jeepin that is one of the few things that I miss from living in the north east, but it would be very hard to give up the warm weather here in the south west. Still wareing short sleeve tee shirts all day.

Take care of the pennies and the dollars will take care of themselves.

Anyone want pictures of a snow clad Jeep?

How's this for dedicated? A friend and I trekked out into the snowfield to grab the tranny and transfer out of these Zuk's in the picture.

It was last year, but there was 5' of snow. I have pics of us digging down and hauling them out on snowshoes. Ooooh, I hope we get as much this year, I want to do some winter camping!

I used to have a tree that looked just like htat in my front yard, ( NW Arkansas) I moved a block away so I still get to drive byit, its probably a northern transplant :+)

Im with ya on the winter camping, my freinds have all gone several times already, it isnt nearly cold enough for me yet.

we only get one good snow per year on average, and Its hard to find camping buddys when its here.

I really like the trees around Louisville. In South Texas where I grew-up most of the trees do not turn or loose their leafs, and the ones that do just just turn a dead brown.

Are those two lumps in the pic' really 'Zuk's?

Yep, and one of them is a hard top.

Here is another pic. Let me tell you, the tranny and transfer were not easy to remove, good thing they're light. The things you do for wheeling.

I guess it takes a certain kind of person to live up here year round. Personally, I enjoy wheeling in the winter much more than the rest of the year. We get more snow than mud!! Bucking snow banks, dashing through the fields...... We usually make a run to Rumford/Bethel/NH in the fall to look at trees for a weekend with 50+ other Street Rodders.
