An atheist professor was teaching a college class and he told the class that he was going to prove that there is no God. He said, "God, if you are real, then I want you to knock me off this platform. I'll give you 15 minutes!"

Ten minutes went by. He kept taunting God, saying, "Here I am, God.I'm still waiting."

He got down to the last couple of minutes and a Marine just released from active duty, and newly registered in the class, walked up to the professor, hit him full force in the face, and sent him flying from his platform.

The professor struggled up, obviously shaken and yelled, "What's the matter with you? Why did you do that?"

The Marine replied, "God was busy; He sent me

OK, I missed that episode, and trying to explain it may be as easy as trying to explain a Seinfeld episode. But, hopping over the border of Austrailia and America... am I missing something? I know its got to be something hilarius because the Simpsons is great in that respect.

[/ QUOTE ]1. Yes, you are..
2. The Simpsons were in Australia,
3. But Were standing at the gate of the US Embassy,
4. Where Homer learned a little lesson,
5. That the Embassy grounds were US property
6. So Homer starts to hop back and forth,
7. In and out of the Embassy gate.

Ya, mom sent me back eventhough she knows I'm a non-believer. I'd been the one sitting in the back of the class waiting for something to happen

Thanks Leve... That was a good one.

Reminds me of my criminal law course in law school. Prof Bacigal (ex-'Oxygen thief' [USN] JAG) would oft times call on yours truly asking "What the Marines thought about a particular point of (liberal) criminal law" - knowing I would espouse a most conservative damning of it in fairly short order. This, of course, would start a great liberal left counter-position and an ensuing hotly-debated discussion.

(Marines, et al) (Lefties)

I took great earthly pride in being known as the 'Attila' of the class of '93.
