no such luck...lousy zoom for the sudbury area in atlas explorer (?), and nothing even in the area from terraserver...

TS used to have good coverage of niagara falls, but now my wife's parents' place is just off the edge of coverage...the image is 9 years old, too...i can see the mall by her parents' place, but there is big multiplex theatre there now too, which doesn't show up in the image...

No problem finding my house but I can't find the Jeep. I wasn't at work. I'll check the jiggle bars.

Just for you Dirt, here is the diesel service track at the Rock Island Railroad, Armourdale, KS. When I get enough ambition, this is the part I'll be modeling for a layout. It's where I worked for about 10 years. There used to be a roundhouse and some more buildings.

My eyes must have been tired last night from processing videos. The Jeep is at work and in my usual parking spot. Taz on the hood and the stripes barely show up as a light blur.

Here is my house - right under the big G! No jeep in that pic either. The pic is 10 years old and won't zoom in anymore.

Here is where my house will go once I sell the one in town. Plenty of room for a house and a shop, plus lots of parts vehicles to be parked nerby!

These pics are available from your local ASCS or FSA angency. We use an 8 1/2" x 11" sized photo of each field we go to so our applicators can get in the right spot.

That is great.... I found it but didn't save the pic because you can't actually see the house for all the trees. July 2000 pic before I had several trees trimmed and some cut down. It would look different now but I doubt that the house (or anything around it) would show up during the summer months. Right now the drive would look like a junkyard.

Very Kewl

This is nothing more than a commercial version of a free program by the U.S.G.S. I will try to find the info on the U.S.G.S. program and post it later. Then you can get the same photos without the logos.

Found it. Go to The National Map and then do a search on your town, then you can find your house in the areial photos. The pay-to-use site has integrated the Census Bureau Tiger Files into the search engine so you can search by address, whereas the U.S.G.S. hasn't done that yet.
