Hey guys, want to see the prevalant attitude towards guns in CA? Check out this little gem of legislation. God damn people piss me off, apparantly bullets are to blame for all injuries in CA.

Yea thats what I hate about california are all the crappy politics. My family has lived in cali for almost 160 years!! And I am very close to moving away because of all this crap. Jeeeze how much does it cost to treat a bullet wound vs someone with cancer, or a broken leg that are much more numerous and expensive than bullet wounds. I think it's time that cali get its head out of it's [censored] and sees the real world.

If you want screwy politics and bull**** then come to cali (my favorite place in the world except for the politics.)

IT IS TIME WE GET RID OF GRAY DAVIS!!! I can't believe that he can make calis defecit disappear without tax increase or cutting social programs. He's a lier.

Sorry for the rant just all the bitching is getting to me.
Good day.

Knowing CA and it's liberal agendas, it's probably *already* illegal to keep more than a certain number of rounds in your house...

That's bull$h!t too... You know? I mean if I want to have 10,000 rds of something I should have every right to posess it.

If I abuse it, *then* go after me. Until someone causes a problem let them do what they want. After they cause a problem nail them with every last law and code possible.

I honestly feel I should have a right to own a selective fire weapon or a sniper rifle chambered in .50bmg if i can afford it without anybody asking many questions. But if I abuse it and harm somebody with it (besides self defense), go ahead, fry me... I'll have earned it...

I think that Senator my have the answer. I have to keep all my bullets locked in a special safe. Not to keep anyone out mind you but to keep those pesky bullets from getting out. Out of the blue those bullets just start shootin off and hurtin people. Maybe charging each one of them a nickle they may think twice about just goin off like that.

Who voted this SOB in office?

Oh, and I just made this realization...

A box of cheap ammunition, similar to .22LR ammo that commonly gets consumed at the target range, would see an increase of $2.50/box if this moron's idea came to fruition. Assuming a base price of about $1.00 per box for the cheap .22 ammo available here in MI, this would be a 250% increase for the price of this ammunition.

A box of something like 7.62x39 ammo (the stuff AK's eat), commonly available in boxes of 20 for about $8.00 (or foreign-military surplus bulk for dirt cheap) would seen an increase of only $1.00 per 20 box, an increase of 12.5%. Now, if Ramone's AK has a 30 round clip and he uses an average of 25 rounds per driveby... I don't think he's really going to care about the extra $1.25 the ammo cost him, assuming he bought the ammo legitimately in the first place.

Seeing how so many criminals and bad people out there use .22's for drivebys, bank robberies, shoot outs with the cops and the like I can completely see the reasoning for this tax... NOT!

They tried this in Maryland last year. Amazingly enough it failed here in the land of the gun/hunting hating Governor. Nobody knew about it until hunting groups learned of it, THEN it got publicized and defeated. In Maryland, the idiot Attorney General has decided that ANY crime that gets you sentenced to over a year or two confinement is enough to bar you from owning a gun. They have even taken guns from people who were convicted of misdemenors 50 years ago and sentenced to 2 years, with all of it suspended, and have not been in any trouble since then. Total BS!!
