Just noticed that on page 126 of the Feb 2000 issue of 4Wheel & Off-Road is an ad for Novak Inc., (formerly Novak Enterprises). Aparently the Jeep adapter business has been bought from the Novak family. Their ph. is 877-602-1500. Web address is:

Great. One good thing about their website is it is full of info, shaft sizes and such. Maybe a little competition in the market will
make the price of some of these components more realistic. One thing about Novak, they only do CJs 86 and newer, so you YJ
and TJ guys are just SOL!

I think what Brad meant to say was 86 and older. It's definitely time for someone else to put the reins on AA's prices! Competition is a good thing!!!

Great news! I hope the new folks bring it back, much as it was. I already tried calling the number listed, and got no answer. I take this as a good sign, as this is the same way that Lloyd and his wife also handled the phones.
As an aside, I am running both Novak and AA adapters in the family Jeeps. There is no doubt in my mind, as to which I believe is the better product, and which folks I liked working with. Welcome back, whoever you are.
