I went to pick up one of the Jam raffle prizes tonight and my buddy John Fries (who got the BFG's for us) who was with me and Daniel at last year's Jam has been talking about this Jeepster at a boat dealer near him. I stopped in on our way home and he had two, one was a '71 but was listed as a '69, the other was a '69 but it had some interior parts I've never seen before. The interior lights worked when the door opened and the floors on both were great. The rockers were bondoed but there was no major cancer on either of them. Both were hardtops, one had sliders.
The guy thinks he has a gold mine because he told John at one time that he wanted $13,000 for the blue one ('69)
I'm calling him tomorrow to tell him what they're worth and see if he tells me to go jump.
