No more tire wear from bad caster in the front end for me! Had my sway-a-way torison bars installed today (great difference in ride), and had the alignment done. The mechanic suggested longer bolts with more shims (just like most of you guys did). Used a grade 9 bolt from a machine shop...worked wonderfully. I had never heard of a grade 9, grade 8 was factory, but whatever works suits me fine. As it sits, I can go out 4-5mm more if I need to. New bfg ko's 2morrow if my local dealer has a set in stock. No more steering wheel vibrations! If you guys havent figued it out yet, Im excited to finally have this problem behind me. Thanks for all the help yall!

So just how wrong are those tables etc? Oh hey do you have any specs regarding Aircraft bolts etc? A friend of mine just got a whole bag full aof assorted bolts etc to use on his race car. I'm just curious about their specs'?

They could be dead on, or horribly wrong. I deal with structural bolting, bridges, stadiums etc. And if the bolt has ANY corrosion, or mess-ups on the threads then the torque goes way up with no increase in tension. We have bolts here that excede the table values for torque, but are still loose.
