Long time reader, first time poster... For many months I have read, learned, and laughed at your posts. If you don't mind, I would like to join in the fun. I am a proud owner of an '81 K20. Like yours, the specs list is very long. But, occasionally things frustrate me. I will now look forward to your heavenly guidance and experience to get me through. I have many questions and comments, but first things first... Have a good day!

however your gf/wife may be when you turn up absent, and sitting at the computer. yes this can be addicting and will prolly even cause you to spend more money.

Thanks for your support! The most important thing I have learned about the truck world is that there is ALWAYS one nicer than yours. So, a "very long spec sheet" is only relative to it's built purpose. I am not a millionaire, nor do I believe one would enjoy this forum. But, I do make the best of what I've got. This vehicle is a nice blend of strenth, comfort, and FUN! When I started shopping for a truck, this is EXACTLY what I was looking for. It was purchased bone-stock from the origianl owner. The list of mods is equalled to the list of things yet to do. So, I won't go there. But, thanks for asking. Here is a picture taken 1/1/03.

Thank you for your question. The steps are good. My wife insisted I install them after tearing several skirts getting in and out. They are CARR brand and I paid about $40.00 for them. They can easily hold 300lb guys climbing in. They also come off easily when I need more clearance. I travel all over Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming for work and pleasure. My last speeding ticket was in Yellowstone. I will be skiing Big Sky, Targhee, and Jackson next month. See ya around!
