Unreal, lots of changes. 10 pounds lighter and $300 more.

it needed more like 15-20lbs off, and i dont get the 4 spd. motocross only

Automatic decompression and the hotstart on the bars is nice. When the KTM 520 first came out it was a 4 speed too wasn't it? Maybe it's how Yamaha shaved some of the weight. The seat/tank junction looks smoother but the tank is smaller than the 2002.

jeez..... let the rider lose 2 pounds so it can have 5 speeds.. Although it almost realy donesnt need all them gears

guys...it's still as fast if not faster than the yzf426, 1st 2nd and 4th gear ratios are changed, it's still as fast, but like roostinya said, mx only, the ktm520sx is a four spd, the ktm520exc and ktm520mxc are both six spds, the 6spds are much faster in the top end than the sx's....but also more gears and that higher top end is for ridin in the woods and top end for the enduro side of it. Personally, i think the yzf450 is a sweet azz bike...
