well, i have been wanting to upgrade trucks for a while.
my 1990 basically cashed itself in last weekend, so i looked and found this truck.
97 f250HD 7.3L, XLT, extended cab. long bed with 100K on it.
it has WAY more power than the old IDI non turbo 7.3L
now i acually have a daily driver that looks kinda decent, and acualy drives nice without scaring me.

I'd be scared everyday if I had to drive around chicago. I went through there once and it seemed that half of the cars on the road had been in an accident.

Didn't they still come with the E4OD? If it's an auto of course. My brother in law has a 2000 F150 auto (I don't know what tranny but he has had it in the shop more times than I have. I was just wondering when they did away with that model? BTW- nice find, in a few years I plan on turning the bronc into Trail rig and getting a 1996 Bronc to pull it! My Pipe dream- on 38's the daily on 33's. I would just about give up the wife for that!-Shhhhhhh

chicago sucks.
pluis that old truck was getting scary....
no sway bars, bar steering box, trans on the go, motor that was gutless and tired. it was not a joy ride for the 150+ miles i do everyday.....
