I found this forum online and thought I’d ask some experts. I can’t find a way to ID the year of the scout I bought. It’s been in my neighbors garage for over 20 years and I had never seen it. Anyway, I’m applying for a title but before I do, I’d like to know the actual year. Can it be determined by the vin?

The seller (neighbor) thinks it is a 1961. There’s a build sheet in the glove box also, but I didn’t see a year mentioned on it either.
