New samurai Game \"Spot the Samurai\"

Have you guys noticed that almost every, late 80's, and early 90's movies and T.V shows had samurai's in them. Either in the main shot or driving in the back ground. So Let's plaY a game. Let's see how many movies we can list that have a sammy in them.

There was a Scooby-Doo episode that had a Sami in it. "Scoody-Doo Meets the Boo-Brothers". Shaggy and Scooby were driving it through some south swamp and got it stuck in the mud. Quite entertaining.

I remember a movie that had one in it in the opening credits. They where showing all the cars on the highway and as they were panning across it was behind the the rest of the traffic with the top off. I think but not sure it was either Terminator 1 or 2.

Out in Vegas there are huge billboards with warnings about the flood zones, and the vehicle getting swept away in the current is a Samurai. I tried to snap a pic, but it didn't come out.

I guess I don't get any points for this one, cause it wasn't in a movie?

Funniest thing, The Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Movie "Turbo" used a Tin Top Sammy as the yellow rangers "Zord" They called it dune star.

in the movie 'Some kind of wonderful' there was a white convertible driven by one of the 'popular girls'

and I can't remember what show it was but in the opening credits there was a samurai in a high speed car chese skidding out of control( surprisingly didn't flip), it was a high speed pursuits TV show

In the late 80s, the was a racing game on the "original" ninentendo that had hardtop Samurais.

RC Pro-am racing on the old NES kicks arse! the best way to play the game was on the hard to find nintendo "play choice 10" stand up quarter muncher arcade machine. if i was better with electronics i would buy an old clapped out "play choice 10" machine and revive it.

the play choice 10 machine would hold ten NES game boards (not the nes carts) and most of the classic nintendo games were available for it including RC PRO-AM.

I think you're right about the game. It was my friends and of course, I always wanted to race the Samurais because I had a 1986 Samurai back then. Oh, I still have that Samurai!

Long story on the news the other night where someone in a stolen car was involved in an accident with a tintop. They showed the tintop on and off for a few minutes. I wondered if I could find the owner of the tintop to see if they'd sell it to me for parts. Pretty bad, huh?
