how bout it when is the next one I'm in Cape cod now and my g/f won't go to hooters with me ...I need wings!... lets get this rollin!

I wont be able to make it the 27th as its my anniverasry and shed have my head lol as for the pipe caps they were cheeper in worcester the last time i checked and i still have a set left over ill trade ya for the z-link

anyone interested in moving the meeting to somewhere less noisy, with more comfortable seating, with better food and servers that maybe dont look as nice but actually have a clue? There's plenty of good restaurants around the area.

I'm just remembering how horrible our experience was there last time (pathetic service, food was awful) and the place is deafening..not a great place to have a conversation.

i acctully like hooter's food, plus I got my g/f to finnally go to hooters lol
maybe we should call first to let them know we are going so we can get VIP treatment? though out a suggestion daxe I just want wings and zuk talk doesn't matter where but i'm feeling solid on the 27 ( swaped some duty plus it will be my first day engaged!( I hope lol)

me, too, when it's good. But the last time I ate there it was awful. I see that happen at alots of restaurants. They get themselves established and popular, then they lower the quality of the food. Maybe was just a fluke, but the previous time I ate there both wildweasel and I got violently ill from the oysters.

Well, Hooters certainly has *other things* to recommend it, but strangely enough a couple of the women who want to attend don't see the attraction. They don't object, it's just not a reason to go there like it is for us drooling male yahoos.

I agree. I'll eat wings any day. One other prob with Hooters is that it is do damn LOUD in there (all hard surfaces and high ceilings) that you can't hear the conversation unless the person is shouting, which of course makes it even louder.

I know some great places for wings and beer, but they tend to be a little off the beaten path and I think wherever we go should be relatively simple for people from out of town to find.

There's a whole range of good places like the 99 steakhouse, applebees, ruby tuesday, chilis, pizzeria uno and that kinda restaurant, but I dont think they'd take kindly to a bunch of people taking up space for a couple hours after their meal on a busy saturday night. Though if we got there around 430, before the dinner rush, it might be OK.

Can we get any kind of semi-accurate head count? We should reserve a few tables wherever we try to go.

Any chain restaurant is going to be just as loud. If I remember correctly none of you have a problem with being heard.

I, like Tomkat, may be out. We'll see.

These inbetween times are hard for me. They are the times when my schedule has to change and I get crammed with a lot of things to do before my new schedule takes over.

I'm out too. I manage some guys buiness jet and we are taking him to Ireland this week and Paris next week. I am going for work and not allowed to have fun. I will be bringing my golf clubs though, thats mandatory /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beach.gif
