Have ya'll seen the new bbs that 3tad and ORC are going to implement on this board? Check it out at the top of the main bbs page and look at the result. Also go to the test pages and read the feedback. ALL previous posts will be lost!

Maybe that doesn't mean much everywhere else but our previous posts are a fact filled encyclopedia for us.

I tried to post a reply and it won't let me log in. Man, we gotta do something about this. Some other forums just copy their archives to a separate page that's not interactive. I sure hope we can keep ours.

The way I read it, all old posts won't be lost. They are saying that all posts to the temporary forums will be lost when the old database is converted to the new system.

I didn't think it was clear one way or the other. That was one of the reasons I tried to post a reply. The comment that "these posts are temporary" would seem to apply to the test forum, but I don't think they clarify that. It seems like it could also be a claim that ORC is not obligated to archive our stuff. I dunno

. Maybe Mike or Jim could find out for us?
