Do you need it for emissions,to make it original,
or to make it run better? I eliminated all but one
vacuum line on my '80 151. I ran a ported vacuum
source to my dist. Bumped my timing up to 12 degrees,
and run premium fuel. The result is good low end and
better mileage. If you run in the cold weather you want
to run a manifold source to the air cleaner for heat
stove operation. Make sure your vacuum & mechanical
advance work.
