Well, my 32x11.50s on 10" rims hit on the back of the wheel well when I turn em.
I got a basic 4.5 spoa on it.
I have hammered down the lip too.
Suppose more lift is in order.
The front springs are reverse bent just sittin there too...
Need to keep it cheep...savin ta git them 4.16s before the fab fest
What ya'll suggest?
Shackles?
helper springs?
Rear to front?..that'll help with the saggy springs.
combo of the 3?
Body lift is out!

Add another leaf to the pack. I used a leaf out of a '59 T-bird spring pack and got about 1" of lift. I found the springs in my brothers junk so the price was right......free. Any spring 2" wide will work just center up the leaf and bolt it in.

When I ordered my kit I asked for the x-tra wide driveline spacers for the axle relocation, but when I got the kit it just had the standard spacers.
I soon got tired of waiting and just put it together.
I suppose I could just move the axle foreward and just not max it out till I get the wider spacers.
I guess that would be the cheepest way to clear the body huh? just redrill the perches and move it foreward....
Good idea! Why didn't I think of that! thanks Taz.

You could use shackles to gain about an inch - much more than that and your pinion angle will give you grief. I needed about that much and found JCWhitney's extended shackles would do the trick. (I have a 5.5 spoa lift and 33's). I also cut out as much metal as I could on the rear wheelwell openings and added Jeep TJ flares. Works good now. I think the best bet is to add a leaf to your pack or get a 1" suspension lift (leaf) if you can find it. I agree with you, keep it cheap and no body lifts.
I'm hoping to (someday) do the "rears up front" and then add 1 more leaf to my rear pack to get rid of the saggy springs. I have about a half inch negative arch as it sits.

Go to a marine/boat store. Buy a set of trailer springs (shop around, not sure on the weight class of spring that would be best), put the big ole spring in the spring pack somewhere (don't know, no experience where). They would be stiff, but add the extra lift.
