I need a web site that gives a description of the various axles dana makes. I have part numbers, and need to know what they are. This could be a line on some cheap D44's.
Anyone have a site?

FNG,

I have a Dana/Spicer book that has all the dana axles from 66-78 years, including Ford, GM, IHC, Jeep and Dodge.
If you interested I can look up the bill of material number and find any part # you need. The bill of material is the
# stamped on the axle, it tells you the gears, axle shaft diameter and length and a bunch of other part #'s and stuff.
I'll have to look it up tonight because I'm at work till 5.

Thanks Panther, but I don't have the axle's here. It's a company in Florida that has them. The NAXJA is doing a group buy, and I wanted to make sure that these are the D44's.
BTW, the price is $300 plus shipping for new D44 from an XJ or MJ.

I looked up those numbers in my book and didn't see them listed, there are Bill of Material numbers starting with either 602 and 603 if you know what the make it I could double check.
