I have been looking for an H1 body and frame to rebuild from the ground up, does anybody have any ideas on where i can find one? my orginial idea was to find an old military humvee but i read somewhere online that they are all destroyed by the military after they retire, and also if you do get your hands on one the govt can seize them from you, is this true? if not, how can i find one?

There was a more recent article (like 3 yrs ago) about how they were NOW offering them up for sale. HMMWV are all over eBay now and then for sale. Some in great shape, some in not so great shape.

Not sure if they're on www.govliquidation.com or not, but they are around.
