Just make sure it's from a REAR wheel drive vehicle. I hear you can get a lot more power from them than the 225. I might do this with the Commando in about 10 years or so.
If you're set on this, then look for a '79-'80 Buick or Olds in a wrecking yard and get a 231/3.8L Buick V-6 with all the attached accessories and you'll have a far more powerfull engine than the 225. The 231 evolved from the 225 and in '79 they improved the heads to gain 43% more inlet port air flow than '78 and earlier models acording to Buick. In '81 they went to computerized carbs and distributors.
