Just in case anyone was worried about running out of stuff to do, I have been stockpiling projects on my sami in the last bunch of days.

I was first on the signup sheet for my YJ SPUA swap with M/Ls on all four corners. That's pretty straightforward except for having to add in rear extended brake line (already did the fronts) and fab up lower shock mounts. I should have a pair of the ford type front upper mounts and a sky mfg upper rear mount by then to put in, as well. I also ordered a second set of Rough country add-a-leafs for extra lift. They will be here this week.

The other part of my projects was to put in the welded diff i have. I decided to get a cool new trail tough minispool instead, so that's coming by wednesday. I also sprang for a set of the SJ410 backing plates since we will be back there tearing all that stuff apart for the spool it seemed like a good time to do that mod.

In case that stuff wasnt enough, I have the trail tough GM alternator bracket on the way with the spool and already have the 86 malibu alt sitting on my bench (thanks for the hint CTBrent!)

And then there's the muffler and tailpipe that needs replacing. I already have those parts, too.

AND if don't get it in by then, we can always swap out my leaky gas tank.

Since a lot of this is happening in the rear, maybe we can put in the rear upper shock mount while the exhaust and gas tank are out, then put stuff back in layers. A little extra working room never hurts.

Campground SHOULD be a show up and pay thing. I have talked to them and verbally reserverd the area.

Projects- Daxe and Max may be up with his wifes rig to swap in a toyota front axle. I have 10+ folks that say they are going to come out, we will see how many show.. If people could bring some chips and soda etc for lunches that would be good. my wife is buying a few big packs of hotdogs for lunches.
I have the ramp out and set up in my backyard. (boy i need softer springs on the front of my rig!) So you can test and
see how high you can go up the 30 deg ramp.

I will send out a new email today from work. (with directions etc..)

I think my future FAB-FEST projects will be new springs, bushings, and shackles. (seeing how I just found out the front has 3 leafs on one side and 4 on the other

) I think I also have a leaky gas tank

anyone need any sheet metal for a project during FAB-FEST ???
I found 2 pieces of sheet metal, about 3 foot by 3 foot ( I think) no idea how thick, not real thin but also not real heavy.(

if anyone is interested I can toss in rig on way up Sunday.

I have some lawn edging you can try. cheap and you don't cry too much. I think daxe has a set allready done before he went to his Zukboys ones.

As to another locker- I don't know. I think there will be at least 2 of us who know how to set R&P backlash so we may be able to get to it.

Throw it in and we will see is the best I can say.

yeah, if you want I can throw these into the zuk along with the other 500 lbs of stuff I am bringing over. I dont know if they will cover 5" of excess tire width, but they will sure go a good ways towards doing it.
