Ok.. Here is my 1995 Bronco XLT. I got it about 2 months ago from a guy that never even took it in the dirt. So far the list of things I have done are..

Two 8 inch lights on stock bumper.
Flowmaster cat back exaust
K&N filter kit
Airaid throttle body spacer
Cobra CB
Fire extinguisher and some other off road goodies.

Not too bad for only 2 months of work.

Nice, clean looking truck!

Did you see any improvement in performance or mileage with the Airaid throttle body spacer?

That's where my antenna is but I zip tied it the top bar and used some of the black flexitube to conceal the wires for the antenna and my "work light" on the same aforementioned bar. I just smack the clearance signs with the antenna now but it scares everybody in front of me so that's cool. hahaha

You should have seen it last week! I found a HUGT mud pit. (kinda rare in San Diego) and it was so covered with mus you couldn;t see out the side windows. It was a B#$%H to clean under the truck...

I just put the whip on last night and still have to zip tie it and rin the cable through the truck.. Where did you rin your cable? Any particularly good places? I also want to put a light back on the tire for backing up and woking on things.

I dont know if I noticed anything with the throttoe body spacer.. I put the exaust on first and it sounded cool and it felt like it had more power.. Then the K&N went on and it was a TON more power. I really recomend that upgrade.. Then the spacer went on and I couldn't really tell anything more.
I bought it off Ebay new for a good price and it was very easy to put on so I dont care.. If you are to put one on remember this.. you HAVE to replace the small section of vacume tubing that runs into the throttle body. My truck is a 95 and it was cracked small enough that I didn't notice and when you put the spacer in it stretches the tube.. Mine cracked more and lost the vacume. It started stalling and runing like crap and I thought I was going to die because something major broke untill I stuck my head under and heared the sucking.. Just a tip to do it you put the spacer on. It's cheep to get a host at a parts store...

There's a lot of information on that.
Shoot, I was going to give you links, but I just killed my clip-board.
Do a search for CB Antenna (use "And" for the search options), and select "all posts".
You'll get a gob of good stuff to read.

Re: CB questions

It's all installed and working.. I took out my ash tray and mounted it there.. I used the power from the cig lighter and it looks perfect. I am making a plactic trim piece to cover the space left so it should look good.. I mounted the whip on the back tire rack but was just wondering where other Bronco owners ran the CB wire through the truck.. I was just thinking about taking the plastic panels off and routing it through the side..

Re: CB questions

They are "Hot Rod dots" All the Hot rods around here have them. You drill a hole in the tail light and install them with a chrome ring. It's just a blueish purple piece of glass and when you hit the breaks it glows a bit.. I have had them on all my lowered trucks and my 1996 Cadillac Deville and just wanted to add a touch of something different to my Bronco..

Re: CB questions

I ran mine through the side pass panel until I could run it underneath the carpet to my CB which is mounted between my seat and the console(fit perfect). I wanted to keep the ashtray for a 3 plugin adaptor for other power uses-cell phone, laptop, etc until I can find a better way of doing it.
Don't put the light center of the spare; have to mess with disconnects to take the spare off blah blah blah.

On another note, it's going to sound weird but sometimes I don't have enough space for all of my stuff. I even got rid of the sound system for the most part-setting off car alarms on a daily basis with warnings is not my idea of worth it but it was good while it lasted(girls like the air pressure of the bass moving...well you know. hahaha

Re: CB questions

I think I have a ton of room in my truck. I am going to take the center console out and make a sub box that will hold a 12 or 10 inch sub.. Mount the Amp under it and put built in cup holders in the box.. Then just cover it with leather to match the truck.. I think that will save space and look cool.

I have the extra power plug so not having the cig lighter was fine with me. I can still have my cell charger or spot light pluged in.

Re: CB questions

How did you mount the lights on the front of your truck? The speaker box to replace the console, do you mean like the "stealth boxes" that came out a couple of years ago?

Re: CB questions

For now I just took my 1/2 inch drill and a good bit and drilled holes in the stock bumper.. I am getting a rock crawling/pre runner bumper bade so I didn't care about drilling the stock bumper.

The center console between the front seats is cool but I dont use it.. The guy I bought the truck from put some lame amp in the bottom of it. I use the cup holders but thats about all.. So I am going to toss out the crap amp, get a sub and make a box the same size as the console and build in cup holders and mount a nice 5 way amp under the box.. Then all I am going to do it get foam and leather or something and cover it.. It will fit just the same way and it wont take up space in the back like a sub box would. I am 6'7 and when I go camping with the truck I take the seat out and just sleep in the back so all the room I can save for me and my gear is cool.
