my atv is 4x4 and i drive through thorns everyday i go out, i have never had a problem. what type of tires are you running? are they tread bare?
also check the ait pressure on tire to make sure there not to hard, or soft.

When I bought my Grizzly, I had 3 flat tires the first week. the stock tires they put on these things are not very tough. I used a product called Green Slime, its sort of like Fix-a-Flat only much better, I have not had a flat since and that was 500 miles ago. www.slime.com Its alot cheaper off the web site then getting it at your dealer, plus they send you a free 12 volt compressor....

THE BEST ANTI - THORN TIRE IN MY OPINION IS THE SUPER SWAMPER VAMPIRE/ I HAVE DRIVEN ON EVERY KIND OF TIRE POKING TERRAIN W/MY SS VAMPIRE AND NEVER HAD A LEAK/ .ONCE I DROVE THROUGH A DEMOLISHED HOUSE AND GOT A 16p NAIL ALL THE WAY IN THE SIDE WALL!!!! NEVER LEAKED
