This is it.. my last time wheeling on the east coast.
I'm calling everyone out to go wheeling one last time. Come watch Pat get "friendly with Janet, watch ricky break his jeep and aaron take anti-sencitivity pills. Listen to Caver Dave whine about how much the recent repairs cost him and hear Joe's new baby crying.

oh yeah.. we might wheel a bit too...

I heard it running over the phone... I had to diagnose the problem long distance. Don't doctors get money for making "house calls" ? Well.....
I won't tell what it was.

Sorry for delay folks...

Here's what (little) I have now: Of the 5 possible spots I had in mind (all owned by family
Image
), I have 1 "no reply" and 4 "absolutely not"s

. Relatives just SUCK!

I still have one possible left, *but* here's the run down:
- 75 acres of woods w/ several acres of flat, clear parking/camping in a manicured pine farm
- Fire pit and old farm house to base out of (definitely NOT to sleep in!)
- As of now, there's no "facilities", but does have running water AFAIK
- No curfew, alcohol restrictions, or rules in general (other than NO property damage & NO firearms after dark
Image
)
- The bad part... it's about 30-40 minutes North of URE between Thomasville & Denton

Let me know if your interested and I'll check it out today.... ACG is still the best spot, but the recent park-wide ban & increased patrolling sure put a damper on things.

ok.. we now have the loop reserved..and site 50 in arrowhead.. heres the plan.. if we reserve most of the campground, perhaps we can entice the "law" to not come all the way back to the loop...(ok...maybe janet can )..
so.. if you are planning on going...go to www.reserveusa.com
click on the pic of NC, then select arrowhead cg (the first one listed). then reserve a site. we are trying to get most of the camping sites.. but if you have a camper...get a camper site towards the rear of the campground...
