A while back I used a website which contained all the MPI computer codes. Now I cannot find it in my bookmarks, nor a search on this list. Anyone still have the link??

TIA!!!!!!!

Re: MPI codes (Again).

Scott,
I'm just curious here (a seeker of knowledge)........if the Howell is using the existing YJ computer........what different codes do you expect to get?......or does the Howell have it's own seperate cpu and it's own set of codes?

GeeAea

Figures don't lie ....... but liars sure do figure.

Re: MPI codes (Again).

I am sorry, I am not using the Howell, I am using the Mopar. The Mopar is a Modified 94 YJ Injection system.

Maybe I was not clear, I ment M.F.I.

Thx!!

Here is my stupid question to add to this discussion: How do you get the codes to display for the YJ. I have done it with the 3 ignition switch method for a TJ and gotten it to work, but got nothing with my YJ. Is there another trick, or does my wireing suck?

It's ALL good!

I am going to guess, try 5 times on (on-off-on-off-on-off-on-off-on)that is what the MPI is and it is off a '94 YJ.

What year YJ do you have? If you are trying to get codes out of an '88, there are none to get! Mopar EFI is capable of displaying codes, but you must hook up the check engine light first. Hope this helps!
