Motocarb Question for CJ-8/5.2

/wwwthreads_images/icons/tongue.gif Along with our 2150 carb from the 91 Waggy, we got a little electric vacuum valve. It has good-sized hose barbs on it and there is one hose still on it, about six inches long. The valve has a short input of 2-conductor wire with a plug-in. What IS that little valve, and does it have a place in our '79 system? There is no mention in the manual for the CJs. Also, what is the "dump valve" which the diagram shows "teed" into the EGR line? And more to the point...do we need to find one for our setup? Thanks in advance for your help, Marty. /wwwthreads_images/icons/wink.gif
